Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta (T8FNA) understand health to be a holistic balance between the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional aspects of the individual. If our members are healthy, our communities are healthy, and in harmony with our environment.
T8FNA Health's vision is to endeavor to achieve this balance and harmony, which are essential elements required to live, grow, and reach full potential as proud, noble, and healthy First Nations. We strive to provide the necessary guidance and information to our communities in order to promote awareness and pursue activities needed to improve and maintain the health status of our member First Nations. As unique Nations, we have the opportunity to participate and become involved in our own health care, and it’s up to us to take advantage of this to ensure the well being of our members.
Being visionaries, we realize that health is an ongoing process, and we’ll continue to provide oversight, analysis, and strategic direction in the evolution of health care service delivery to Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta.
