The Situation

The dry weather we are experiencing is causing multiple wildfires across Northern Alberta to threaten our communities and caused evacuation notices and order to affect multiple of our First Nations. What begin as a wildfire in High Level, has quickly escalated to multiple wildfires all across Northern Alberta.

We are asking for your help as we deal with the situation, we have been sending supplies to our affected communities since this began and we will continue to gather them and distribute them where needed until the situation is resolved.

We are asking for your help!

How you can help

We have an email money transfer account set-up for those of you who wish to donate to help our communities that are struggling.

Please send your e-transfer to the email address asawchuk@treaty8.org, he is the Director of Finance for our organization, this is registered for autodeposit so no password is needed.

All of your donations will go to helping our communities that are currently being affected by the wildfire, specifically we will make sure if a community is not being supported by other disaster services, that they are getting help.

We are still accepting donations in person of gift cards, cheques or credit cards (we will also accept cash in person if you bring it directly to our office).
